Copper Pine Homes

A website for an owner-led custom home builder and painter in Kelowna. Built so a homeowner can see who they would be working with and start a real conversation in a few steps.

Copper Pine Homes homepage, built by Elliot Digital

Copper Pine Homes is Preston Humphrey’s company. He builds custom homes, does renovations, and handles premium interior and exterior painting across Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley. I designed the brand mark and built the website, with a short estimate form that goes straight to Preston, a page for each service and area, and homeowner guides for local search.

The brief

A custom home or a whole-house repaint is a big decision, and people want to know who they are trusting before they pick up the phone. Copper Pine is one owner who stays on the job, so the site had to make Preston the point of it, look as considered as the work, and make the first step easy without feeling like a sales funnel. It also had to cover two quite different services, building and painting, and show up for searches across Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country and Peachland.

How I built it

  • 01One person, front and centre. Copper Pine is owner-led, so the site is too. Preston’s name is in the hero, his phone number is in the header, and a meet-the-owner section explains that the person who quotes the job stays on it through the final coat.
  • 02An estimate form that asks four short questions. Project type (custom build, painting, or both), a rough size range, timing and finish level, then contact details. One question per step, a progress bar, and a hidden honeypot field to catch spam bots. The request arrives by email, and Preston reviews every one himself.
  • 03A clear answer to “what happens after I send this?” A short page walks through the first steps: Preston reviews the inquiry himself, then a first conversation, then a site or scope review, then a practical recommendation. On a phone, a bar at the bottom keeps Call and Start inquiry one tap away.
  • 04A page for each service and each area. Custom homes, renovations, interior painting, exterior painting and cabinet refinishing each have their own page with FAQs. Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country and Peachland each have an area page, and six homeowner guides cover things like what shapes the cost of a custom home in Kelowna.
  • 05Nothing on the site that is not true yet. The project gallery is labelled as concept imagery until Preston’s own photos are ready. Testimonials and licence, warranty and insurance details are wired into the site, but each one only appears once it holds a real value.
  • 06Fast, and one address. The estimate form only loads as a visitor scrolls near it, the hero headline paints straight away instead of waiting on scripts, and www.copperpinehomes.ca now redirects permanently to copperpinehomes.ca, so search engines see one site instead of two copies.

The outcome

A homeowner can see who Preston is, what he does and how a project starts, then send a short inquiry or call him directly from any page. When an inquiry arrives, he already knows the type of project, the rough size, the timing and the finish level before he replies.

The service pages, area pages and guides give the site something useful to show up for beyond the company name, and the site is set up to take real project photos, reviews and credentials as they come in. These are features of the work. I am not publishing a traffic or lead increase without measured results.
