Jantech Mobile Services

A website for a mobile A/C service based in Vernon. Built so someone with a warm A/C can match their problem to the fix, see who is coming, and call in one visit.

Jantech Mobile Services homepage, built by Elliot Digital

Jantech Mobile Services diagnoses and recharges A/C on cars, trucks, RVs, tractors and equipment on site, from Vernon across the Okanagan. I built a site that starts from the symptom, explains the service process in plain words, shows who shows up, and keeps a call button in reach on every screen. I also handle their SEO.

The brief

Mobile A/C work is a hard sell to a stranger. You are asking someone to let a person they have never met work on their truck or tractor in their own driveway, and most of them only know the air is not cold. Jantech also does the job differently from a lot of shops, with a nitrogen test and a measured vacuum before any refrigerant goes in, and that difference is invisible unless someone explains it. The site had to earn that trust quickly, explain the process without burying people in jargon, make calling easy from a phone, and show up for searches across the North Okanagan and beyond, not only in Vernon.

How I built it

  • Start from what the A/C is doing.

Most people do not know what service they need, they know the air is blowing warm or the cab smells sour. The homepage opens with nine common symptoms, from warm air to water on the floor to a dead tractor A/C, and each one says in a sentence or two what usually causes it.

  • Explain the process in plain words.

The site walks through what happens on arrival in three steps, then offers the full four-step technical procedure for anyone who wants it: nitrogen pressure test, deep vacuum measured in microns, refrigerant charged by weight, and a leak check after. A comparison with a typical repair shop shows which of those steps get skipped.

  • Speak to the people who already paid a shop.

Someone whose A/C is still warm after a repair is often the most motivated caller. They get their own section on the homepage and a Post-Repair Final Step Package page that is clear about what Jantech does and what stays with their mechanic.

  • Show who is coming to the driveway.

Jantech is one person with a truck full of equipment, so the site leads with the owner, his aviation maintenance background and his refrigerant handling certification, plus real photos of tractors and trucks being serviced on site.

  • Keep the call one tap away.

The phone number is on the hero button, the header and an inline bar under the symptoms. On a phone a fixed bar offers book, call and text, and the request form only requires a name and a phone number, with vehicle, refrigerant type and the rest left optional.

  • Pages for every service and every town.

Eleven service pages cover jobs like leak detection, R12 retrofits, hose crimping and generator-powered remote site work, and twelve area pages run from Kelowna to Salmon Arm and Sicamous. A blog answers questions like why a new compressor failed, and the business details are marked up for search engines.

The outcome

Someone with a warm A/C can find their symptom, read what usually causes it, see how the job is done and who will do it, and call or text from the same screen. If they would rather send a request, two fields are enough, and anything else they add helps the owner prepare for the callback.

The service, area and blog pages give the site a reason to come up for the many ways people search for A/C help around the Okanagan. These are features of the work. I am not publishing a traffic or call increase without measured results.
