Quotes I see for Okanagan small businesses run from about $900 to $8,000 once for a website and $200 to $3,000 a month for SEO, with hands-on local SEO usually between $500 and $1,500. Social media depends mostly on whether content is filmed for you, and ad management is a monthly fee with the ad spend on top. My own prices are public: sites from $1,500, local SEO from $750 a month, ad management from $750 a month, and monthly social packages from $1,200 to $5,500.
Marketing prices in the Okanagan are all over the place, and most companies do not publish theirs. Here is what the quotes I see tend to buy at each level, and my own numbers for Okanagan digital marketing, since I publish them.

Websites
The low end is a template you fill in yourself; the high end is an agency build with project management layered on. A custom small-business site in the middle of that range should include mobile speed, local SEO set up from day one, and structured data. Agency quotes clients have shown me for a site like that ran $2,500 to $8,000. More detail in what a Kelowna small business website should cost.
Local SEO
Hands-on local SEO, where someone works your Google Business Profile, content, citations and reviews every month, usually sits between $500 and $1,500. Below that is mostly software; above it you are paying for agency process. The full breakdown is in how much SEO costs in Kelowna.
Social media
The biggest price driver is whether content is created for you. Posting from photos you already have costs far less than someone coming to your location to film. My Managed tier, from $1,200 a month, runs your accounts from your existing photos; Managed + Content, from $2,950, adds a monthly on-location shoot; Full, from $5,500, adds a second shoot and ads. See what social media management costs in Kelowna.
Paid ads
You pay twice: a management fee to whoever runs the campaign, and the spend that goes to Google or Meta. Management is the part that decides whether the spend turns into calls. Budgeting guidance is in how much a Kelowna business should spend on Google Ads and what Facebook and Instagram ads cost.
If you are starting small
Spend in this order: a website that works, then your Google Business Profile and reviews (mostly your time, not money), then one monthly service. Add ads only when you need calls faster than the organic work can deliver. A business that does the first three well will usually beat a competitor spending more on ads over a weak site.
What to ask before you sign
Ask what is done each month and by whom, whether ad spend is included, how long the contract runs, and who owns the website and accounts if you leave. I wrote up the rest in how to choose a digital marketing company in the Okanagan.

Common questions
How much should a small business spend on digital marketing in Kelowna?
There is no single right number, but a common starting point is a one-time website plus one monthly service, often local SEO or social, in the $750 to $1,500 a month range. Add ads when you need calls faster than SEO can deliver.
Is ad spend included in ad management fees?
No. Management is the fee for building and watching the campaign. The ad spend goes to Google or Meta directly and you set it. Most local businesses start between $500 and $1,500 a month in spend.
Why do Okanagan marketing quotes vary so much?
Because they buy different things. Cheap programs are usually templated software. Mid-range is hands-on work by a person. Agency retainers add account management, reporting and overhead. Ask what you get each month, and who does it.
Are there contracts?
Mine vary by service. Websites are paid once. Standalone SEO and the Managed social tier are month to month. Tiers where I come out and film run a three-month first term, then go month to month.
